THE BIG FIVE ITINERARY
Engabo Safaris introduces this 3 days itinerary to Murchison falls national park for viewing the big five. Uganda is one of the few places where you will be able to see all the big five and also be able to see other wildlife and other interesting attractions.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Departure to Murchison Falls National Park
A representative from engabo safaris will pick you from the hotel and embark on the journey to Murchison fall National Park through Bombo – Luwero and continue to Nakasongola where you will have a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, have lunch then proceed to Murchison Falls through Masindi town and then proceed into the park. You will reach the park in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Paraa safari lodge (luxury), Fort Murchison (midrange) and Red chili (budget).
Day 2: Game drive and Launch Cruise
Wake up quite early for an early morning game drive to catch the early morning risers including lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, hyenas etc who will also be looking for breakfast. After the rewarding activity, you will return to the lodge for a breakfast, relax, have lunch then go for launch cruise where you will sight the hippopotamuses, Nile crocodiles, birds and other animals on the river bank that come to take water. Return to the lodge and go an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 3: Departure
You will wake up to an early breakfast, check out. And head back to Kampala, On your way you will be able to sight other animals that you might have missed out on the previous day.
