This 3 days Uganda wildlife safari takes you to the northwest to Murchison Falls National Park for astonishing wildlife sights. This is Uganda’s largest park and extends up to 3840 square kilometers. It boasts of its huge concentration of wildlife and powerful waterfall-Murchison falls. Its spectacular savanna grassland inhabits mainly wildlife species like lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, giraffes and there are also several Nile crocodiles, hippos, water birds such as shoebill stork, herons, kingfishers, bee-eaters and many others.

Day 1: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park
Your day starts with a hot cup of tea or coffee and later, drive to northwest to Murchison Falls National Park about 4 to 5 hours’ drive from Kampala via Luweero-Masindi route. En-route, make a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary which is about 7 kilometers away from the main road. At this sanctuary, you will take part in rhino tracking which allows you to see rhinos that are inhabited within this stunning wilderness area. Later, drive to Masindi where you will have lunch and then proceed to Murchison Falls National Park
Dine and spend a night at Paraa Safari Lodge/Nile Safari Lodge/Chobe Lodge (Luxury), Pakuba Safari Lodge/Fort Murchison (Midrange) or Red Chili Camp/Heritage Safari Lodge (Budget).
Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise in Murchison Falls National Park
After your enjoyable breakfast, drive to the northern wildlife track at Murchison Falls National Park to take part in exciting and rewarding game drive. This experience will take you about 2 to 3 hours and comes with astonishing sights at varied savanna dwellers like giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, buffaloes, antelopes, birds and many others. Return and have lunch in your respective safari lodge. After, you will have a boat cruise/launch trip which takes you to the bottom of the falls. While here, expect to see hippos, the basking Nile crocodiles and water birds including kingfishers, bee-eaters, eagles, herons and many more. At the bottom of the falls, you can take a hike to the top of the falls where you will be welcomed by a powerful roar of Murchison Falls as it squeezes itself into a narrow gorge of about 7 meters before plunging about 43 meters down.
Have a rest, dinner and overnight stay at Paraa Safari Lodge/Nile Safari Lodge/Chobe Lodge (Luxury), Pakuba Safari Lodge/Fort Murchison (Midrange) or Red Chili Camp/Heritage Safari Lodge (Budget).
Day 3: Return to Kampala
Have breakfast and later check out from your lodge. You will have a morning game drive and after, drive back to Kampala. You will have lunch in Masindi and then proceed to Kampala.
